fragment: why write

From 6th February 2018

I write to better understand. I write to explore, to map, to make sense of things and to be heard, if only by myself. I write to leave a trail of breadcrumbs. I write to chart the many weathers that pass within and through. I write to find connections. I write to record. I write to better understand the perspective I am looking into the world from, as it colours everything I see. And I write for release.

Today 23rd November 2020

I am tired of waiting until I can conform to a form to begin. My thoughts are non-linear, three dimensional and often involve gestures. I need to start somewhere and wonder if by recording fragments I will start to see patterns and connections.

From 30th January 2018

I feel I should write. Really I’m just looking for silence.
